Events

Social events are an important means of bringing together our membership and others to foster the Guild family network.

We have been growing social events by going online for those who are unable to travel but wish to remain connected.

We hold a number of social events each year, visiting parks, historic sites or special places of interest. All are led by a local guide who is an expert on the area.

Horticultural Displays

The Guild has created displays and show gardens such as the ‘Battlefields to Butterflies’ garden at Hampton Court Flower Show.

Open Days

The Guild participates in the Park Open Days with displays and information about the Guild and its activities.

Guild Awards

These special occasions are also open to members where we celebrate the achievements of people associated with the Royal Parks and the wider Guild family.

Online Events

The Guild has run online panel discussions – called ‘Fireside Chats’ where members get to tune in, wherever they are, to hear discussions on interesting topics or they can watch the recording later.

Tours & Talks

Often members will be invited to visit a place of interest with a talk and a tour. Personal guides and behind the scenes experiences make these events special.

Member Social Events

The Royal Parks Guild feels that it is important to run social events for its members. It is a time to meet friends and colleagues, past and present.
